My practice centers on the intersection of Persian visual heritage and contemporary painting. In Good and Evil (2023), I explored moral imagery from Persian illustrated manuscripts through acrylic painting, setting figures drawn from those traditions against landscapes of decay.

This dialogue between historical source material and personal reinterpretation continues in the Rhinoceros Project, an ongoing body of work since 2021 comprising large acrylic canvases that place the rhinoceros inside surreal landscapes, alongside a Persian miniature series that began by adapting historical compositions and gradually arrived at designs entirely my own.

Continuing the Rhinoceros Project, working in parallel across acrylic on canvas and the Persian miniature.
